Dear H.V.M.N. Community,
We are excited to announce today that H.V.M.N. Ketone-IQ will start to be available for limited community presale in November 2021, and publicly launching in January 2022.
Ketones are a nutritional primitive, a unique and versatile tool in the toolkit for metabolic health and performance.
With H.V.M.N. Ketone 1.0 we were the first ever to bring a drinkable ketone to the world. Ketone-IQ is a major step closer to the goal of making ketones accessible to all.

We initially launched H.V.M.N. Ketone 1.0 (aka Ketone Ester) in 2017 with the conviction that ketones would be a transformative tool for a broad set of daily health, athletic, and therapeutic uses.
Since laying the first tracks in the snow in 2017, we secured a $6M contract with the US Department of Defense, researching the application of ketones for physically and cognitively demanding missions by some of the world’s most elite operators.
We have supplied H.V.M.N. Ketone to hospitals, major universities, and cutting edge research groups investigating the impact of ketones on aging, brain health, inflammation, metabolic diseases, and more.
We have worked with some of the most elite athletes in the world: selling to over 60% of the teams on the Tour de France, athletes in every major three-letter sport league in the US, elite combat sports fighters, Ironman champions, and more. One of our favorite stories in the athletic realm is when we worked with Vittoria Bussi to break a world record for The Hour on the bike.
Most importantly, we have supplied H.V.M.N. Ketone v1.0 to countless people to move a step towards their personal goals for fitness and health.
With Ketone-IQ, we updated the product to address the key feedback we heard from our community. While v1.0 was an ester of two different ketone molecules, for Ketone-IQ we have focused on the "better half" of the ester, called BDO, which has several key advantages over v1.0.
The full changelog is here, and there are three particular updates to highlight:
- Cost. We brought down the cost by 66%, from $13.20 per 10g serving to $4 per 10g serving.
- Taste. We formulated it to be significantly more palatable than typical esters.
- Longer duration. Ketone-IQ keeps you in the optimal blood ketone range for longer and is less “spikey” than v1.0.

We're excited to get this to you, soon. Thank you for being part of the community. Our mission is only possible with your support.
