- Pure diol. H.V.M.N. Ketone 1.0, as well as other esters still on the market, are diluted mixtures of ketone diol in combination with other molecules. Ketone-IQ is updated from being an ester, to a pure diol. Each serving of Ketone-IQ contains 10g of chirally pure R1,3-butanediol, the state of the art of ketone delivery.
- Improved performance and duration. Ketone-IQ, because it is a pure diol, elevates blood ketones with the speed, magnitude, and duration that is optimal for performance, according to the research we have done and has been observed independently by outside groups. Certain esters spike blood acidity and cause GI issues, which Ketone-IQ is engineered to avoid.
- Per gram ketone cost reduced by 66%. Ketone 1.0: $33 / 25g ketone = $1.32 → Ketone-IQ: $40 / 100g ketones = $.40. Because of our economies of scale, we have been able to bring down the price per gram of ketone to 1/3rd the cost of our v1 and other esters on the market.
- Improved taste. Ketone esters have “ester” bonds that cause harsh, bitter taste. Ketone-IQ is a pure diol, not an ester, so it has a much smoother flavor profile than any ester. On top of the core active ingredient chirally pure R1,3-butanediol, H.V.M.N. have invested significant R&D into formulating the Ketone-IQ with non-active ingredients to modify the flavor and give it a more pleasant taste.
- Multiserve packaging (10 servings) vs. 1 serving packaging, to allow for daily use while reducing waste.
- Changed serving size from 25g to 10g, to normalize daily low-dose use while still allowing for larger doses for larger body mass individuals or specific uses.
- Includes dose cup, for ability to do body-weight and use-case adjusted measurements.
